In one of the most chic suburb of Paris, Boulogne, two steps away from the Seine River, in front of the Forest of Saint-Cloud, welcome to my big & bright apartment, decorated with a lot of taste : contemporary art, design furnitures ...
A few steps away from the 16th arrondissement of Paris, in a suburb as chic as secure, welcome in my superb and spacious apartment.
Very recent, it’s filled with light thanks to its numerous double-windows and very white walls. The furnitures and decoration have been chosen with taste, between Italian and Scandinavian design: elegantly unmatching chairs, tiles on the floor, mouldings on the ceiling, etc. You’ll mostly enjoy the kitchen-dining-living area, very big, ideal to have long chats around a good meal…
You’ll have exclusive access to the whole apartment. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TWO SIMPLE BEDS MEASURE 170 * 90 CM ONLY !
A friend of mine or I will welcome you.
Please send me your hour of arrival (in Paris) when you can.
I may be abroad but I will stay available by phone or through Airbnb message system should you have any problem or need any suggestion as to where to go!
At the West of Paris, in the very chic department of the Hauts de Seine, Boulogne-Billancourt is at once a small piece of Paris – it’s indeed right next to the beautiful 16th arrondissement, with which it’s perfectly connected – and a very green, calm and residential suburb, rather bourgeoise but nevertheless not too posh.
The families with children will appreciate the proximity of numerous parks – especially the superb domain of Saint-Cloud, its castle, and the Boulogne Wood – and of the Seine River, but also its calm and security. As for the groups of young or not so young friends, they will enjoy the numerous bars and restaurants along the Seine, with a fluvial and relaxed atmosphere.
If you like peace, here is your paradise. Mostly, the vast gardens of the Albert Kahn Museum are a real haven of serenity. Here, as Baudelaire could have said, it’s Luxury, Calm and Pleasure. One could spend hours there, walking about between the rose trees, lilas and Japanese ponds, watching the carps and squirrels climbing the trees, a book in one hand, sitting on a wooden bank, like a hero or a heroin of Jane Austen – only the sunshade is missing! Then, little trip around the world mandatory among the superb photos of the Museum taken in the early 20th century, between African tribes and Indonesian dances.
For lunch, you’ll have to make a choice between various restaurants on the bank of the Seine, with a view, obviously. My preference goes to the Cap Seguin, a very romantic restaurant in which you’ll feel like you’re on a boat on the Seine…
During the summer, the Rock en Seine Festival in the Domain of Saint-Cloud gathers great names of Rock music. Fine music-lovings or great curious, it’s really worth the detour! Otherwise, I highly recommend you the rooftop bar of the Marriott, the view here is fabulous, the place elitist, and the cocktails delicious!
